Privacy

Short, because there is little to say.

Cookieless analytics

We count how many people visit, which pages and sections they see, which buttons they press and which form they fill in. Analytics uses no cookies and does not identify you. Your name, email, phone number or anything you type into a form never reaches analytics; only a count such as "quote form sent" does.

Your IP address is not stored

From your visit we derive the country, device type, browser and the site that referred you. To avoid counting the same visit twice, a one-way hash that is renewed regularly is used; your IP address itself is not recorded.

The data stays with us

We run the analytics tool (Umami) on our own server and load it from our own address, stats.piyanos.com. The numbers are not shared with ad networks or other third parties. We do not use Google Analytics or anything like it.

What your browser keeps

Your language and theme choice are stored in your browser so they are remembered next time. Closing the Pivi bubble and arriving through a campaign link (such as the QR code on a business card) are kept as flags that are deleted when you close the tab; the second one only makes sure that arrival is counted once. None of these identify you.

Forms

What you write in the contact, quote and meeting forms reaches our team only so we can get back to you.

Turning analytics off

If your browser's tracker blocker stops the analytics tool, the site works just the same.
